Book Recommendation: People Can't Drive You Crazy If You Don't Give Them the Keys

Wow! What a helpful book! I was praying that God would give me the wisdom in the challenging situation and this book was the answer to my prayer.

Here's my situation, I want to be part of a person's life (someone in particular), but I can't seem to understand them. They don't understand me. We argue or end a conversation on a really bad note. Sometimes I hang up feeling guilty. I don't want to give up on the relation

ship but end up not wanting to talk with them for long periods of time.

This book has helped me see that the problem is not in them! Its me. God is building my character through this person. God is working in the other person's life in His own way. The key is to know how to respond and to stop trying to change the other person. There's a lot more to that... you'll have to pickup the book at the library or listen to the audio book.
